2024 Postcard Art Exhibit - #postcardartexhibit24 Texas, Call for Artists
Postcard Art Exhibit 2024 will take place at the MillHouse McKinney, nestled in the charming town of McKinney, Texas, USA. Our exhibition will be curated by Robin Pedrero, one of our esteemed curator emeritus, who has been with us since TAE14, marking our 14th event!
This year, our beneficiary is the MillHouse Foundation (www.millhousefoundation.org), situated just a 40-minute drive north of Dallas in McKinney. The foundation is housed in The McKinney Cotton Mill (www.mckinneycottonmill.com), a stunning historic building located in the heart of the city.
The Opening Gala Pre-Sale for participating artists, Dignitaries, and VIPs is scheduled for September 21, 2024, from 1-2pm CDT. Opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Our Grand Opening for the General Public will be from 2-4pm CDT.
A LIVE broadcast of our opening ceremony will be available on our website at www.postcardartexhibit.com/live.
Postcard Art Exhibition 2024 will continue to be open to the public until October 10, 2024. Free Admission.
Online sales will commence on our website from September 24 at 11am CDT until October 22 at 11am CDT.

Arborea loosely translates into the Latin word for female tree. Trees nourish and protect, embody the cycle of life and the power of metamorphosis. Not merely providing oxygen, food, and shelter, but also acting as silent witness to our shared history, a reflection of humanity's own varied tapestry.
Trees have long served as beacons, guiding travelers and offering refuge to those in need. Symbolizing life, growth, and spiritual connection, trees are emblems of resilience. Sites of communal strength. Inspiring joy and adventure in young hearts! But human nature has always impacted our dear trees. In their demise, trees give rise to the very structures of our bustling homes.

Bridgette Mayer Gallery Benefit
My work has been selected. I am creating a large 24x24 painting for this event. The Bridgette Mayer Gallery is poised to host its 9th annual Benefit Exhibition in support of HelpUsAdopt.org and the Dina Wind Art Foundation. From June 11 to August 3, 2024, the gallery at 709 Walnut Street in Philadelphia will transform into a beacon of hope and generosity, showcasing artworks that transcend the ordinary.

It is going to be an art filled weekend November 11 - 12. I invite you to come to my studio at Millhouse where all of the artists will be hosting open studios. We will serve refreshments. The entire city of McKinney has a map of artists with open studios.

Millhouse MuralFest
The festival will be held on Saturday, June 3, and Sunday, June 4 from 10 am to 4 pm. The Friday evening Meet-the-Artists reception on June 2 is open to VIP PASS holders. MuralFest is open to the public free of charge.

Mystic River of Dreams
Art on 7th is Henderson County’s only exclusively contemporary art gallery. Established in 2021, the gallery features fine contemporary art by artists whose work sells and is exhibited nationally and internationally. The gallery represents many WNC artists whose emerging talent has been recognized, and warrants appreciation by art collectors.
